The Praxis Project is excited to announce the public launch of the Transformative Schools Network (TSN)! This learning community is a collaboration with Alliance for Educational Justice (AEJ), the Community Justice Network for Youth (CJNY) & The Praxis Project. We are over 40 organizations representing 44 states. The issues range from healthier school lunches to discipline policies that promote positive youth development. We are building power, winning campaigns and making change to catapult public schools into the 21st Century! We want you to join this learning community! We will be hosting a TSN Launch Party geared towards young people on Friday, July 10 from 7 pm till 9 pm at MetWest High School! There will be a DJ, TSN Swag, a raffle and scrumptious Hors d’oeuvres! Come join us in this transformative space!

Transformative Schools Network is guided by these 6 policy petals:

• Healthy and Safe Food and Water
• Equitable funding and governance
• Health Services – school-based nursing and other health
• Safety/Safe Space
• Physical activity
• Equitable Facilities and school infrastructure
