This session will provide a space for young children to explore issues of inequity in developmentally appropriate ways, including an art exploration of hopes and dreams, a read aloud focused on building critical literacy skills and learning how children can advocate for their hopes and dreams, and movement and singing. In addition, parents will be provided with a resource kit including critical literacy strategies and social justice activities you can do with your child.
