Often times, culturally relevant and justice related teaching strategies center high school students. In this session, we will explore ways educators can create justice oriented curriculum in early childhood education. Participants will build a common-core aligned, justice- based lesson/unit plan. Participants will walk away empowered to teach justice-based curriculum in their classrooms. Participants will also have the foundation of a lesson/unit plan to return to their classrooms and teach.
