Friday 7/12/2019 - 3pm to 4:30pm - Room: Carlson 219
This session calls for a re-orientation of learning towards mindfulness, expression, wellness, and excellence: the four tenets of ME/WE – a philosophy & praxis developed at a Los Angeles based empowerment program for girls. In our collective exploration, we will invest in ME/WE philosophy & praxis by honoring ourselves and one another. In addition to connecting our stories, sharing visions of liberation, and reflecting wisdom, we will also rely on the contributions of freedom fighters across time to ground us in peace, power, and purpose. Before parting ways, we will reinforce our interconnectivity through the sacred practice of council.
