The hierarchal, oppressive nature of how school policies, practices and procedures approach disciplinary action is deeply rooted in maintaining white supremacy. Our most marginalized students have the right to determine - on their own terms - what repair and reparations looks like to make our school systems more socially just for those who are the most disenfranchised.
