This student-led workshop will explore the unique experiences of young female-identified Latinas and the generational trauma they have experienced from machismo, migration, and other issues. Students leaders will facilitate discussion about the Latinx experience and the extent to which schools succeed in supporting healing for their Latinx students and families. Student facilitators will share what has worked at their own schools and will provide recommendations from education and mental health professionals.
