This interactive panel discussion will feature Advisors, students and graduates of Escuela Verde - Milwaukee’s green school. Rooted at the intersection of ecojustice, social justice, and restorative justice, Escuela Verde employs a student-driven project-based learning model to engage its diverse community in meaningful learning and community action that goes beyond a letter grade or test score. Join us as we engage in a moderated panel discussion, followed by a break-out small group discussion focused on key elements of Escuela Verde’s liberatory education program. You will leave the session inspired by ideas for improving your own program.
