Hxstorically, BIPOC parents have not felt belonging in public decision-making spaces. Our aims to share stories, discoveries, and lessons we have gathered over the years, when we decided to begin weaving the rich embodied knowledge parents already hold into public policy spaces. We hope this information will help us create new connections with workshop participants and grow the network of people interested in deepening learning about parent-centered organizing and movement building work.
