In this workshop, Project VOYCE youth provide background history of the upcoming Globeville Elyria-Swansea Community Land Trust in Denver, Colorado. We provide an insight into how youth and parents can work to celebrate community ownership of land while protecting our neighbors from gentrification and displacement. Through fun group activities and youth-led narratives, we also explore youth-adult partnership tactics necessary to organize intergenerational communities of color around the creation of permanently affordable housing.
