In this session, we will engage with youth and educators on how we can, collectively, queer classrooms, schools, and community spaces, as well as the practices in these spaces. As colonial projects, classrooms and curricula often center (hetero)normativity and whiteness, which constrain our ways of being, knowing, and relating to one another. Together, we will challenge this normativity and introduce queer ways of learning and teaching that center desire and pleasure.
