In most U.S. schools, multiculturalism is supplanted with colorblindness, assimilation, and other conservative forms of inclusion. This session explores the pervasive effects of falsified knowledge and challenges educators to explore truthful, righteous pedagogy. This session will specifically explore the connection between African-centeredness and anti-racism education.
