Friday, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm -- Rm F-200

Marching in a protest can give youth a sense of collective power, but how do youth theorize their political actions? Oakland History teachers are asking students to develop theories of change that include critical consideration of the issues and tactics. In this workshop, you will use a rubric to assess theories of change developed by Oakland 9th grade students, provide feedback on the tool’s design, and think about how you guide young people to theorize efforts at change.
