During this panel session, teenagers and young adults from Project WHAT! will facilitate a dialogue regarding the diverse experiences of young people who navigate the education system as the child of an incarcerated parent (CIP). Each panelist will tell their personal story with an emphasis on their at times overlapping interactions with law enforcement and school personnel. Additionally, panelist will reflect on their work to reduce the stigma facing CIP within bay area schools.
