Too often researchers approach communities with research questions with little recognition of the struggles and relations already present within community spaces. At the high school level, students sometimes are not encouraged to develop tools to see their own communities as rich spaces of living history and living theory. Introducing a convivial research approach that draws on drifts, relational testimonios, and tactical cartographies, this workshop will share hands on tools for engaging convivial community research.
