Educate, Embolden, Empower: The Road From Birmingham to Baltimore and Beyond is an assembly submitted on behalf of NYAppleseed, an organization that advocates for equity of access and fair allocation of resources to schools and neighborhoods in New York City and its greater metropolitan area. This assembly focuses on the three e’s: educate, embolden, and empower students and young people to rise up against any problem, issue or injustice they come across. The purpose of this assembly is to bring people together to address and reaffirm the idea that youth are powerful and capable of change.
