Every Black/Brown youth deserves a holistic model of transformative justice within a community that is striving to eradicate the culture of violence. Youth often fall behind on building healthy relationships not because they desire to, but because they lack preventative education. In this workshop, youth will have a basic understanding of systems of domination-patriarchy and racism-operating in model of Power and Control, impacting movements or their personal lives. How learning about interpersonal partner violence shapes a healthy social justice movement? Why do activists need accountability systems that are transformative? Why must we make collective healing a well-funded process that is not a Band-Aid fix within our communities? Due to these questions, we used the quote from, Bad Bunny, on the value of worth both individually and collectively.
