In a political climate in which undocumented folks are being increasingly criminalized, it is important now more than ever to discuss ways in which educators can stand in solidarity with our undocumented students and families. In this workshop, Teach Dream (a working group of NYCoRE) and the NYSYLC (undocumented student led organization in NY) will help participants examine the school to prison to deportation pipeline and discuss practices educators can use to disrupt the pipeline.
